Company Announcements
- Our New Pricing Model
We have developed a new, flexible pricing model that better adapts to business needs.
There are two tiers to the new pricing model:
- Pay-as-you-use: Ideal for startups and small /medium businesses that can’t predict their volume in a month or have little volume. This model allows you to pay for every API call you make.
- Volume Based Prices: This monthly subscription plan allows your company to enjoy amazing discounts on API calls as your API call volume increases.
Here are some features you’ll be able to enjoy under each plan:
Send us a mail at mailto:info@dojah.io or book a call with Ibukun to get started with the new pricing model.
2. Dojah Talks
We have partnered with Benjamin Dada’s blog to launch our Twitter Spaces called Dojah Talks.
We saw the need to create this platform due to the increase in cases of identity theft, consumer data risks, and online fraud. An example is the recent Shoprite data breach where cyber-terrorists stole 600GB of data that contained the names of ShopRite’s users and photos of their government-issued IDs.
Our goal with Dojah Talks is to intimate and educate Africans on the importance of identity in forging a new Africa built on trust. Connect with us on Twitter, so you don’t miss out on any of our upcoming spaces.
3. Elder Osifo joined Dojah
We’re excited about the latest stellar addition to our team, Elder Osifo. He is coming on board as our VP of Sales and Partnerships.
Elder was the former Head of Business Development at Mono, and before that, the Sales, Accounting, and Partner Manager at Interswitch.
“With over ten years of experience across sales, business development, and partnership roles, Elder is an exciting addition to our team, and we have the utmost confidence in the results he would be able to achieve for our growth as a company,” said Tobi Ololade, our CEO.
Elder is a welcome and strategic addition to Dojah as we strive to meet our goal of building robust KYC and onboarding solutions for businesses across Africa’s major economies.
Product Updates
From fixing bugs to adding new features based on customer feedback and request, our Engineering and Product teams work round the clock to refine the quality of our products.
- Identity Verification Widget Updates
- You can now add a custom ID to the list of ID types.
While Government-issued documents are one of the most trusted identity documents, there are times when businesses may want to verify their customers with private and custom documents.
Seeing this need, we added an update to the widget that enables you to add custom verification documents to the list of accepted documents. All you need to do is send us samples of the custom document, which could be certificates, school documents, etc.
With this update, you can now collect and verify privately-sourced documents alongside Government-issued documents like International Passport, Driver’s License, etc.
- Verifying more African countries
We are motivated in ensuring businesses have the best KYC, onboarding, and verification tools they need to scale into Africa’s major economies efficiently.
We have connected even more African countries to the widget, meaning that businesses can now verify users from the following African countries:
- Kenya
- Ghana
- Uganda
- South Africa
2. Validate Email Addresses
Validating email addresses is critical for successful email marketing campaigns. It is important to confirm that your list of email addresses is valid and free of typos. Validating emails leads to an increased email delivery rate, a high sender score, increased ROI, higher conversion rate, and decreased hard bounces.
We have updated our email validation service, and now, beyond validating emails, businesses can also see the social media accounts that have been created with the email.
3. Know Your Business (KYB) Widget
The KYB process helps check if you are dealing with authentic business entities or shell companies, saving businesses from trusting the wrong entities for partnerships or deals. KYB also ensures that the business you are about to deal with has never been involved in money laundering activities.
We have developed a KYB widget that enables you to onboard and verify businesses with ease. With this widget, you no longer need dedicated teams and multiple vendors to perform verification. Instead, you can streamline your KYB verification process, quickly verify other businesses, and securely form business relationships.
You can identify and validate the identity of a business using the following IDs:
- TIN
- CAC certificate

These are the company announcements and product updates we have this month. The new and existing products are available to all our customers. As for potential customers, no better day to start solving your KYC, onboarding and verification challenges with our APIs and services.
